Our System - How It Works

The Prodigy Portal is easy to use, as secure as online banking and fully interactive. Training and expense is minimal. Once your scanner arrives, you can be up and running in 10 minutes or less. Scan your documents, drag the scanned documents icon to the Prodigy upload button and your job is done. Once you've uploaded your documents to your portal, almost immediately your Prodigy bookkeeper will begin working with your source documents and accounting file. When all work has been completed, you will be notified by email - click the link to login to your portal to view, save and print your reports, invoices, checks and financial analysis documents. From your portal you can communicate with your team, view your document history, pay your bill and manage all of your company users. Prodigy Accounting and all of our systems are designed to work in unison with your company.

Prodigy understands how critical your data is which is why we use the industry leading Live Vault Online Backup service. Using its Virtual Backup and Recovery Network™ your data is continuously transmitted to a secure data center managed by Iron Mountain. Iron Mountain is the most trusted name in data protection. Live Vault's back up system is running 24x7 and will restore data immediately. You never have to worry about your data if disaster strikes. The Prodigy server network is secured through a firewall and we use 128-bit SSL encryption to protect you and enhance our security. Any communication from your browser to Prodigy's servers are private and secure when the SSL session is running.

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 (free) or higher is required for printing all of your completed reports
